PANCHAKARMA

The Panchakarma deals with the basic aims of Ayurvedic medicine to maintain the health of a healthy and alleviate the disease of an ill individual. It stresses upon the preventive aspect by eliminating the aggravated Dosha from the body time to time.

SAMHITA SIDDHANTA

The Department of Samhita Siddhanta is the department of basic principles of Ayurveda. The learning and practice of the basic principles is fundamental to the school of Ayurvedic medicine.

RACHANA SHARIR

The department offers coverage of human anatomy in accordance with the academic curriculum of BAMS course offered by RGUHS, Bengaluru. The Department of Rachana Sharir imparts knowledge of Rachana Sharir and human anatomy to the students of BAMS.

KRIYA SHARIR

The department offers learning of original texts and treatises of Ayurvedic science and Ayurvedic medicine in its mother language-Sanskrit. The department offers the study of the philosophical fundamentals of Ayurveda.

SWASTHAVRITTA AND YOGA

The Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga primary aim as to preserve the health of healthy individual laid down all the preventive principles which are necessary in maintenance of health under the subject Swasthavritta, which is known as Preventive and Social Medicine or Community Medicine in modern medical science.

KAUMARBHRITYA

The Department of Kaumarbhritya deals with the diagnosis, prevention and cure of childhood diseases, nurturing mother, and care of mother after delivery thus ensuring better health of both mother and child.
